While the vast majority of people experiencing hair loss find topical treatments to be very effective, we offer a complete line of clinical services for patients that have either experienced complications with, or are not responsive to topical treatments. We can go over these advanced treatments during our consultation with you to see if they are appropriate for your type of hair loss.
REVOLUTION'S CLINICAL SERVICES
PLATELET-RICH PLASMA THERAPY
During Platelet-Rich Plasma therapy (PRP), highly concentrated platelet rich plasma is injected into the scalp to strengthen and stimulate hair follicles. The treatment can also be combined with micro-needling or medications for maximum benefit to the patient.
STEM CELL HAIR TREATMENT
Stem cell therapy is a non-surgical procedure that offers a more natural alternative to surgical hair transplant techniques. At Revolution Hair, we use stem cells to stimulate follicular hair growth and reverse the effects of hair loss.
CLINICAL LASER THERAPY
We offer in-office scalp stimulation lasing. Patients typically come in for a series of treatments over the course of 3-6 months and receive a one hour session using our green and red alternating cathode laser to promote increased vasculature, blood flow and oxygenation. Treatments are typically directed at areas of targeted and slow regrowth for the patient, but are available to all clinical patients.
SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION (SMP)
It is not uncommon for people to have one (or more) “pesky” spots… that no matter what they do, including hair transplantation, they just cannot get hair to regrow. Often these trouble areas cause patients to give up altogether on their regrowth regimens and plans. We’ve found that for cases like these, the simple, relatively painless procedure of scalp micropigmentation is usually the best way to dovetail with their overall gains, and give our patients the confidence and look that they desire.
The process typically takes less than one hour, and is similar to the tattoo process… differing mostly from the tools used, and the fact that the scalp has very few pain receptors, meaning that for most patients the process is pain free.
Common areas for SMP are hard-to-regrow areas, like the crown and frontal hair line. Though it is also commonly used on temples and part lines with great success. If you’ve tried everything, and just can’t seem to regrow hair in a certain area of your scalp, schedule an appointment with us today to discuss the possibility of SMP “filling in” your problem area. The results are usually amazing… and are virtually indistinguishable from coverage by actual short hairs for most hair and scalp types.
